Thought leadership is a very ethereal concept often met with scepticism and cynicism, yet it is by changing our perspectives and our internal approach that transformation starts. Stimulating this process and facilitating the shift in attitude is what lies at the heart of successful thought leadership.
The tools and processes are varied and often vary as environment or scope demand. They range from papers, articles, presentations and debate, through to organisational assessment, skills development, interactive facilitated workshops, guided planning and catalysing leadership.
However all the methods are focused at recognising the strengths and weaknesses as they relate to the organisation and its strategic vision assessed in context to the market and customer environment. These strengths are consolidated, weaknesses managed or eliminated and then new concepts and attitudes are proposed, criticised and where appropriate adopted and adapted to the meet the strategic vision.
